Did you know the salon industry is one of fastest-growing industries today and the demand for talented professionals has never been higher? UCS offers job placement assistance to all beauty school graduates. Additionally, workshops are held on various professional aspects of the industry, building a resume and mock interviews. Students also receive the best training available from top notch instructors because the success of our students is our number one priority! By success, we don’t mean just preparing students to take and pass the state board, we mean preparing them to succeed in a real world environment as beauty industry professionals.
Our educators are experienced in teaching cosmetology as well as advanced techniques. Because of their practical experience working in and managing salons, educators are also able to transfer valuable customer service and business skills to our students. All of these tools combine to provide our students with a strong, professional foundation. These are great beauty school news for our students.
Our beauty school grants institutional scholarships to people in need that desire to forge a better future for themselves and that are willing to study hard, graduate, obtain licensure and become a productive member of our society.
If you know of somebody who would benefit from this program, refer him/her to our administrative offices to complete an application. (Only for Cosmetology and Barber)

Our beauty school news go beyond our beauty school program, the Financial Aid Department makes sure that every student is properly funded. This is possible by advising current or prospective students on specific loan options and scholarships. Financial officers are required to work with the admissions office in order to have a full understanding of the financial resources particular to the school.
The Career Service Department ensures that graduates have employment interviews, and that a percent of graduates acquire employment in their field of study. There is a monthly workshop to teach students how to write a resume and how to prepare and act during a work interview.
The Academic Department works as a liaison with the CS Dept., the academic registrar’s main role is to act as the definitive records keeper about students on behalf of the school. Its works underpins a student’s academic experience from application through graduation. Including assessments, complaints, discipline, and transcript production, seminars and different activities such as academic competitions within their field of study.
As part of the many beauty school news for this month, we would also like to announce that our Admissions Department will be offering institutional scholarships to prospective students in dire need. If you know of someone who wants to achieve success, is disciplined, has a high school diploma or a GED equivalency and has the desire and the willingness to study and complete either Cosmetology or Barber program, please direct them to our beauty school Admissions Office to fill out an application and obtain more information.
